Pouso da Cajaíba is within a region completely preserved by Juatinga Ecological Reserve. Without electricity, the village runs on generators, candles and ice.

With some beautiful pristine beaches, this paradise is about 2 hours by boat from Paraty.

• Pouso da Cajaíba beach - With a small fishing village, is the beach that has more infrastructure despite being one of the smallest, with just over 300 meters long. Only if it arrives by boat, which makes the place a great getaway for those seeking tranquility. His calm and greenish in color, are good for diving. Beach Landing is not the best, so it's worth eating there and then go somewhere else.
• Sumaca - wild and pristine beach only 150 meters long. You get there by boat and then a trail of approximately 40 minutes. The beach is beautiful and almost no waves. There is only one restaurant serving hearty and tasty PF. The Sumac is close to Martim de Sá Beach.
• Calhaus - deserted beach with many rocks in the sea. For its difficult access and poor infrastructure is recommended for those who like a more direct contact with nature. It is near the Itaóca.
• Itaóca - No infrastructure and virtually untouched, this beach is next to Pebbles and also worth visiting.
• Praia Grande da Cajaíba - A beach with clear waters and fine sand and yellowish. Streams of Praia Grande and Spy are Itaóca of the river, flowing into the middle of the beach and forming a pond. In the small valley formed between the beach and the mountains there are a few fishermen's houses. On the right side of the beach, next to a bamboo bar that opens sporadically, there is a small trail that leads totwo beautiful waterfalls with waterfall ending in a pit. Access is by boat and takes two hours or track 30 minutes from the beach landing. The beach is one of the hottest and has a few restaurants that appeal to those who want to eat and also to people who prefer to relax with a beer.
• Martim de Sá - deserted and wild, this beach is about 450 meters long. The easiest way to get there is from Cajaíba. It has good waves for surfing, and a waterfall nearby. It is near the beach at Sumac. There is a camping site. The sale of alcoholic beverages on site.
• Toca do Carro - This small beach is a great option for those who prefer less crowded beaches and calm sea, good for swimming. Why not rely on infrastructure, it is recommended that visitors bring food and drinks.
• Ipanema - a calm beach and a small community. On site there is a well of fresh water ideal for cooling off.
