Tijuca National Park

Tijuca National Park is one of the biggest urban parks in the world. It occupies an area of 3.300 ha. The park offers various leisure attractions as well as for the cultural and ecological tourism. Among the most visited points, worth mentioning, are the Tijuca Forest, the largest urban forest replanted by man, Paineiras, Corcovado, Dona Marta Belvedere, Vista Chinesa.

Maracanã

| Maracanã was built in 1950 to host the World Cup and is designed to hold 166,369 spectators, and after some reforms, reduced its capacity to 95,000 spectators but still, even today, one of the biggest stadiums in the world.
The Stadium is one of the most sought after tourist attractions in the Rio de Janeiro state. Go to Maracanã, the major symbol of world soccer (football), is an unforgettable experience. The architecture inside the stadium gives a special charm.

Aterro do Flamengo

With 296 acre of green area on the seafront, the Aterro do Flamengo is the result of one of the most beautiful and important landscape projects of artist Roberto Burle Marx. From Santos Dumont Airport to Botafogo Bay, the Park offers a wide range of attractions. It has sports courts, bicycle paths, jogging track and other attractions. The track of it's main avenue towards South-Central Zone is closed to traffic on Sundays and public holidays from 7am to 6pm, further increasing the circulation area of the park.
